What clauses can Recital display in an executed contract?

When viewing an Executed Contract Record, the Detected Clauses tab highlights key clauses in the contract, making it easier to reference important contract details.

Currently, the Detected Clauses tab can display the following clauses:

  • Term
  • Termination
  • Renewal
  • Limitation of Liability
  • Governing Law
  • Force Majeure
  • Assignment/Change of Control
  • Indemnification
  • Dispute Resolution

An executed contract also displays key contract details including:

  • Contract Title
  • Counterparty Names
  • Effective Date

Recital can detect a wide range of clauses, which powers features like our Similar Clause Search in Word. To ensure a user-friendly experience when reviewing executed contracts, we’ve intentionally selected only the most frequently used and accessed clauses for display in the Detected Clauses tab. We plan to expand the range of detectable clauses in the future.
