Overview: Recital for Word

The Recital Word add-in streamlines contract drafting and review by giving you instant access to your contract data—clauses, comparisons, and your saved library—without leaving Microsoft Word.

What you can do with the Word add-in

The add-in brings four key capabilities into your drafting workflow:

Search for similar clauses – Find clauses semantically similar to the one you're reviewing, pulled directly from your existing contracts. This helps you quickly identify alternative language, spot patterns across agreements, and make informed decisions during drafting.

Manage your clause library – Save clauses you want to reuse and remove ones you no longer need. Your library automatically organizes by category, creating a reference bank of your preferred language.

View and insert saved clauses – Browse your entire clause library organized by category and copy clauses directly into your document.

Compare documents or text blocks – Run a comparison of two documents or specific text selections to identify differences directly in Word.
