Navigating Recital
Welcome to Recital. Once your account is set up, the first thing to understand is how the platform is organized and where to go depending on what you’re trying to do.
The video below provides a short tour of Recital and introduces the three main areas.
How Recital is organized
Recital is structured around three core areas: Records, Compare, and Reports. Each section supports a different part of the contract workflow.
Records
Records is the main workspace in Recital. Each record represents a single contract. Recital automatically groups together related files and versions from your connected email and storage systems so everything associated with that contract lives in one place.
Compare
The Compare section is dedicated to document comparisons. This is where you generate and review redlines between two versions of a contract. Comparisons can be created in several places, including directly from email or from within a contract record.
Reports
Reports gives you visibility across your contracts.
Instead of working with one agreement at a time, Reports allows you to filter and analyze contract data across your entire repository.
You can use Reports to:
- Filter contracts by different criteria
- Explore contract data
- Export information for analysis or sharing
What to explore next
Now that you understand the basic layout of Recital, the next step is to learn how each area works in more detail.
- Contract Records
- Comparing Documents with Recital
- Search Files and Records
- Using Reports to Analyze Your Contracts
