My Google account has disconnected from Recital
Recital monitors your inbox so that any emails containing contract attachments are automatically synced to your account. If your Google account becomes disconnected, this stops—and any contracts that arrive while you're disconnected won't make it into Recital until you reconnect.
Why does this happen?
Google periodically disconnects third-party integrations as a security measure. This is typically triggered by a password change or an extended period of inactivity on the connection. It's not a Recital issue, and it's easy to fix.
How to tell if you're disconnected
Recital will flag this for you in the app, so you won't need to go looking for it. If your Google account has disconnected, you'll see a notification prompting you to reconnect.
How to reconnect
- Go to the Settings page in Recital.
- Follow the prompts to reconnect your Google account.
That's it. Once you're reconnected, Recital will automatically pull in any contracts and related emails from the period it was disconnected—this typically happens within an hour. From there, Recital will continue watching your inbox for new emails and contracts as they arrive.
